Winning Bids (This Could Be You!)
Earnest money is deposited with real estate broker Completed Bid package is overnighted to HUD agentIf sales package is complete and correct, sales contract is accepted by HUD
Within 60 days of HUD Accepting the Contract
- Title Company initiates closing process
- Buyer secures financing
- Buyer has the option of completing a home inspection
- Sale closes at title company
- Buyer takes ownership
If a Property Is Not Bid On
- It remains on the market with bids being accepted daily
- Eventually if the property does not sell to an "owner-occupant" the property will then likely be opened up to all bidders
